Thompson Pass Snowkite festival celebrated its 5th year this March. Each year TPSKF throws something different at us, and each year more kiters show up stoked to be a part of this burgeoning anti gravity enthusiast community. The pictures speak for themselves, but just to recap; 80+ inches of new snow, 70+mph winds, 60+ participants, 13 kites in the air at one time, 4 days of blizzards, 3 road closures by the DOT due to poor visibility and avalanche danger, 2 days of mostly cloudy kiting, and 1 pass that really kicks ass! Thank you Valdez for hosting us once again, we’ll see you next year as a part of the Tailgate Alaska Project. Enjoy
