Just a 10 minute helicopter flight out of the town of Girdwood, this area hosts great terrain and a complex wind pattern. This is a great place for beginners to immerse themselves in a new experience, or for advanced kiters to test their skills. Check out the photo’s posted on the expedition page to see more of what this place has to offer.

What an amazing festival. This year marked the first organized kiting event at Thompson Pass. The weather and wind could have cooperated a little more but there was some great kiting to be had. Look forward to the festival in 2010 as planning has already begun. Many thanks to all those who helped make this festival possible. It rocked!
