AKA Road Trips:

    If you want it all, then these are the trips for you. These all inclusive Road Trips and expeditions across Alaska are a Snowkiters dream vacation meticulously designed by the AKA boys to deliver greatness. We offer 3 pre arranged packages, all flexible on length and location, to match any kiters budget, and every kiters goals, lots of wind and really deep powder. The differences between the 3 road trips revolve around the resources we utilize to access the kiting goods, and how much of the work you want us to take care of for you. Snow-machines allow for amazing access to more remote regions within day trip range. They also allow us to get some gravity turns in-between sessions. For extended visits to more remote glacial terrain, planes and helicopters become a necessity. The options for Heli days, snowcats, bush plane trips to the goods, and of adding a professional chef and/or massage therapist allows us to add any and all luxuries to an already amazing experience.

The AKA Road Trip:

   Prepare to be amazed. This is the Road Trip of a lifetime for friends and family, pro’s, and weekend warriors alike. We will travel in style across the great state of Alaska chasing wind and favorable weather and snow conditions to various locations previously scouted by the AKA crew. Wherever the goods are, we’ll make sure your there too. Basing our trip out of RV’s allow for the comforts of necessity as we kite and ski and board ourselves silly among some of the most beautiful mountain scenery the world has to offer. We will be supported by Snow-machines to access the remote goods and ski/ board some amazing vertical on down days or between sessions. Your Road Trip will cover some scenic miles on our way to destinations like Thompson Pass, Haines, Eureka, Portage Pass, Turnagain  Pass, and many more. If you want terrain, we’ve got that, if you want steeps, we’ve got that too! By utilizing snow machines to access the backcountry, there’s always options to be had, wind to chase, and powder to leave your mark in. There are many opportunities to learn new skills and master new kiting techniques and tricks along the way. Our guide to client ratio of no more than 3 to 1 allows us to give each individual the time and tools they need to achieve their kiting goals. These trips are left flexible to allow your guides to choose a destination based on current conditions. We will be taking you to the best places in the state to get you into the goods.

The AKA Kiter Cruise:

    Who wants to cruise Alaska in a sweet ride chasing the goods?! This trip expands upon our first road trip by including options for day trips to fly into a remote glacial plateau if the weather allows, and, or a day or 2 of Heli Skiing out of Valdez or Haines Alaska. We can also use snowcats to access the backcountry as well as our snow-machines to get farther out there. All these extra-curricular activities are day trips which allows us the luxuries of the RV instead of extended backcountry camping.
